On the afternoon of May 19th , the 8th "Silk Road Spring seminar for Young Scholars"—FIST sub-forum was held online.

Prof. Jinyou Shao, the chairman of FIST, introduced the overall profile, the current status of faculty and students, as well as future research faculty team building plan of FIST.

7 young scholars from famous universities and research institutes in Japan, Singapore and other countries. The latest scientific and technological research results were shared, such as biomedical engineering, chemistry, materials.

This seminar provides an opportunity for FIST to attract young talents and build a talent team, and provides a platform for young scholars to further understand FIST. FIST will seize the opportunity to create a talent highland, cultivate a number of outstanding academic backbones who are expected to enter the forefront of world science and technology, actively contribute to promoting the self-reliance and self-improvement of high-level science and technology, and contribute to building XJTU into a world top university.
